I had a great time this morning working with Earl Bell, Managing Director of the Washington VCFO practice, and Blaine Millett of WOM10 (Word of Mouth on Steriods). Earl and VCFO hosted the event and asked Blaine and I to speak on Social Media.
Blaine did his usual fantastic job explaining how CEOs can use blogging and social media to enhance and grow their businesses and leadership role IF they have a plan and strategy. I spoke on how CEOs and businesses can manage legal risks that arise out of social media with policies, training and the right insurance. It was a great event and I was delighted to be included.
